Daniel Jablonsky, President and Chief Executive Officer


Daniel L. Jablonsky was appointed to the role of President and Chief Executive Officer of Maxar Technologies and to the Company’s Board of Directors on January 13, 2019.

Previously, Mr. Jablonsky had served as President of DigitalGlobe since October 2017, when the company became part of Maxar Technologies. He joined DigitalGlobe in 2012 as Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary, and also held the role of General Manager, International Defense & Intelligence from 2015 to 2017.

Prior to DigitalGlobe, Mr. Jablonsky was a shareholder at the law firm of Brownstein, Hyatt, Farber, Schreck, LLP from 2011 to March 2012, where he practiced corporate and securities law. From 2010 to 2011, Mr. Jablonsky served as the Interim Co-General Counsel of Flextronics International Ltd., and from 2007 to 2010, he held the role of Senior Corporate Counsel, Securities and Mergers & Acquisitions at Flextronics. Mr. Jablonsky previously was in-house counsel at UBS Financial Services, Inc., served in the enforcement division of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, and practiced corporate and securities law with O’Melveny & Myers LLP. Mr. Jablonsky holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the United States Naval Academy and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Washington School of Law. Prior to law school, Mr. Jablonsky was an officer and nuclear engineer in the U.S. Navy.

Biggs Porter, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer


Biggs Porter joined Maxar Technologies in August 2018 as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Prior to Maxar, he spent five years as Executive Vice President and CFO at Fluor Corporation, and six years as CFO of Tenet Healthcare Corp. Earlier in his career, he held leadership positions at Raytheon, Northrop Grumman and TXU.

He was twice named one of the 100 most influential people in finance by Treasury and Risk magazine, and was ranked as the top CFO in the engineering and construction industry by Institutional Investor magazine.

Mr. Porter has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Duke University and a Master in Professional Accounting (MPA) from the University of Texas at Austin, and he is also a Certified Public Accountant.

Dr. Walter S. Scott, Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer


Dr. Walter S. Scott is DigitalGlobe's founder and served as its Executive Vice President and Chief Technical Officer. He was responsible for DigitalGlobe's Platform and Services Business Units, as well as space system acquisition. From 1986 through 1992, Walter held a number of technical, program, and department management positions at the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, including serving as the assistant associate director of the Physics Department. Prior to this, Walter served as president of Scott Consulting, a Unix systems and applications consulting firm. Walter holds a Bachelor of Arts in Applied Mathematics, magna cum laude, from Harvard College and a Doctorate and Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley.

Tony Frazier, Executive Vice President, Global Field Operations


Tony Frazier joined Maxar in 2017 after its acquisition of DigitalGlobe and serves as our EVP of Global Field Operations. In this role he leads all sales, business development, and services delivery activities for the company outside of the Canadian market. Prior to this role Mr. Frazier served as President of Radiant Solutions. Mr. Frazier served as Senior Vice President, General Manager of DigitalGlobe’s Services business from 2013 and led GeoEye’s Marketing and Communications team since 2010, prior to its acquisition by DigitalGlobe in 2013. Prior to GeoEye, Mr. Frazier served as Senior Director of Product Management at Cisco Systems, where he brought to market emerging technologies core to Cisco’s video and collaboration strategy. Prior to Cisco, Mr. Frazier held senior marketing roles at Infor, iPhrase Technologies an MIT start-up acquired by IBM, and Mr. Frazier began his career in strategic consulting at Bain & Company. Mr. Frazier holds a Bachelors of Systems Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA with distinction from Harvard University. 

Megan Fitzgerald, Senior Vice President, General Manager, Space Infrastructure


Megan Fitzgerald leads the Space Solutions organization at Maxar, previously the SSL business unit, which provides advanced satellites and spacecraft systems for customers in the U.S. government and commercial sectors.

Megan joined SSL in 2007 and has held a variety of key roles: Senior Vice President of Program Management, Vice President of Production, Vice President of Systems Production and Executive Director of Advanced Programs and Systems.

Megan was first affiliated with SSL in 1994, joining a Loral Space & Communications limited partnership with Qualcomm, as the customer executive responsible for the procurement of the Globalstar LEO space segment from SSL. In that job, she directed the development, deployment and operation of the Globalstar space segment as well as procurement of the space and launch segments for the second generation Globalstar satellite constellation.

Earlier in her career, Ms. Fitzgerald worked for Lockheed Missiles and Space Company in both engineering management and business development roles. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from the University of Michigan and a Master of Science in structural engineering from the University of California at Berkeley.

Jim Lee, Senior Vice President, General Counsel


Jim Lee joined Maxar in April 2019 as General Counsel. Previously, he had served as Senior Vice President and Deputy General Counsel at Aramark Corp. since August 2004. At Aramark, he led the legal functions for Uniform Services, a segment of the business with $2.4 billion in annual revenue and 21,000 employees, and for Refreshment Services, as well as the real estate, M&A and labor relations groups. He also served on the board of Aramark Uniform Services Japan, a joint venture with Mitsui & Co.

Prior to that role, Mr. Lee worked at O’Melveny & Myers as Counsel in the M&A Group, the firm at which he started his legal career as Corporate Associate immediately after receiving his law degree. In the middle of his tenure at O’Melveny & Myers, he served as Vice President and General Counsel at eConnections, Inc., a supply chain and purchasing software company.

Mr. Lee received his bachelor’s degree in Economics from Yale University and his J.D. from Harvard Law School.

Jeff Robertson, Senior Vice President, Chief Operations Officer


Jeff previously served as Senior Vice President, Chief Information Officer, and Chief Risk Officer. Prior to joining Maxar, from 2009-2013, Jeff led the Information Technology organization at ADT Security Services, where he served as Chief Information Officer. ADT provides security, video, and home automation solutions to over 6.5 million residential customers and over 100,000 large corporations and US Government agencies. Additionally, Jeff's prior experience includes launching an internet start-up and serving as a Senior IT Portfolio Director at CNA Financial Services. Jeff started his career at IBM and spent ten years at Andersen Consulting (later known as Accenture) supporting Finance & Performance Management. Jeff holds a BA in Economics from Northwestern University.

Jeff Culwell, Senior Vice President, Chief Product Officer


Jeff Culwell joined Maxar in 1998 and currently serves as Senior Vice President, Chief Product Officer. Previously, Mr. Culwell served as DigitalGlobe’s Senior Vice President, Operations, providing low latency imagery via direct access to the satellite or via electronic terrestrial communications. He was also responsible for our satellite constellation, remote ground terminals, and our customer installations enabling direct access to the constellation. Prior to DigitalGlobe, Jeff was at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory working on the Galileo mission to explore Jupiter and its moons and subsequently working on the Deep Space 1 mission to prove 13 new satellite technologies. Jeff holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering Sciences from University of Colorado at Boulder, and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from California State University, Los Angeles.

Nancy Coleman, Chief Marketing and Communications Officer


Nancy Coleman was appointed to the Maxar leadership team in March 2019 after serving as the Vice President of Corporate Communications at Maxar and at DigitalGlobe prior to the company’s acquisition by MDA in October 2017. As Chief Marketing and Communications Officer for Maxar, she leads an integrated function encompassing corporate, regional and product marketing, employee communications, public relations, brand and industry leadership.

She previously served as Senior Director of Communications at DigitalGlobe, a position she assumed when GeoEye and DigitalGlobe combined in 2013. Prior to that role, Ms. Coleman was Senior Director, Marketing & Communications at GeoEye for eight years. Ms. Coleman also held corporate marketing and communications positions at leading technology and information businesses including SGI and Engility.

She received a bachelor’s degree in public communications from the American University in Washington, D.C.

Liz Andora, Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer


Liz was appointed to the Maxar Leadership team as the SVP and Chief Human Resources Officer in November 2019 after serving as the VP, HR for DigitalGlobe since September 2018. As the CHRO Liz is responsible for developing and driving organizational and people strategies aligned with the strategic and tactical initiatives of the company. Liz brings over 20 years of experience and has a strong background in leading human resources operations for startup to mid-size to large technology companies through critical stages of strategic growth. More recently Liz held the position of VP, People and Places for Rally Software. She played a key role in preparing for the IPO by developing and establishing the people programs that effectively led to a successful IPO. Prior to Rally, Liz held various HR leadership positions with Sun Microsystems and Hewlett-Packard.

Liz graduated from the University of Colorado in Boulder with a BA in Political Science, and an MBA in Marketing and Management.

Randy Lynch, Senior Vice President, Finance, Treasurer, and Corporate Development


Randy Lynch joined Maxar in April 2018 after its acquisition of DigitalGlobe and serves as our Senior Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer of Earth Intelligence. In addition he is Maxar’s Corporate Treasurer and he is responsible for Corporate Development. Previously, Randy worked at Bank of America Merrill Lynch and Morgan Stanley, serving as Managing Director, Global Head of Aerospace and Defense. In those roles he supported CEOs, CFOs and Boards of Directors, focusing on M&A and strategic finance. Randy has a bachelor’s degree in economics from Vanderbilt University and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

Carolyn Pittman, Senior Vice President, Chief Accounting Officer


Carolyn Pittman joined Maxar in July 2019 as SVP and Chief Accounting Officer following a 23-year career at Northrop Grumman Corporation and its spin-off company, Huntington Ingalls Industries, where she held numerous financial leadership positions, including Chief Financial Officer and Vice President Finance and Controller of Newport News Shipbuilding, Chief Financial Officer of Northrop Grumman Enterprise Shared Services, and corporate Vice President and Chief Audit Executive of Northrop Grumman. Earlier in her career, Carolyn worked in the public accounting firm of Ernst & Young, LLP for 10 years.

Ms. Pittman has a bachelor’s degree in Accounting/data processing from the University of Arkansas, an MBA in Finance from Dallas Baptist University, and she is also a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Information Systems Auditor. In addition, she is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Financial Executives International, Women Corporate Directors, and serves on the Board of Directors of Minerals Technologies, Inc.

Jason Gursky, Vice President, Investor Relations


Jason Gursky was most recently the senior U.S. aerospace and defense analyst with Citigroup, where he was named a top stock picker and top earnings estimator in the space by Thompson Reuters in recent years. Previously he has covered technology supply chains for JPMorgan and held various management roles in the telecommunications sector. He holds an MBA from UC Berkeley, an MA in International Relations from The Johns Hopkins University and a BA in International Relations from UC Davis.
