Daniel L. Jablonsky, President and Chief Executive Officer

Daniel L. Jablonsky was appointed to the role of President and Chief Executive Officer of Maxar Technologies and to the Company’s Board of Directors on January 13, 2019.

Previously, Mr. Jablonsky had served as President of DigitalGlobe since October 2017, when the company became part of Maxar Technologies. He joined DigitalGlobe in 2012 as Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary, and also held the role of General Manager, International Defense & Intelligence from 2015 to 2017.

Prior to DigitalGlobe, Mr. Jablonsky was a shareholder at the law firm of Brownstein, Hyatt, Farber, Schreck, LLP from 2011 to March 2012, where he practiced corporate and securities law. From 2010 to 2011, Mr. Jablonsky served as the Interim Co-General Counsel of Flextronics International Ltd., and from 2007 to 2010, he held the role of Senior Corporate Counsel, Securities and Mergers & Acquisitions at Flextronics. Mr. Jablonsky previously was in-house counsel at UBS Financial Services, Inc., served in the enforcement division of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, and practiced corporate and securities law with O’Melveny & Myers LLP. Mr. Jablonsky holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the United States Naval Academy and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Washington School of Law. Prior to law school, Mr. Jablonsky was an officer and nuclear engineer in the U.S. Navy.

General Howell M. Estes, III, Chair of the Board

General Estes, of Colorado Springs, CO, has been Chairman of the Board since December, 2018. He served previously as a Director of Maxar Technologies from October, 2017, Chairman of the Board of DigitalGlobe from February, 2011 and Director from May 14, 2007. General Estes is the President of Howell Estes & Associates, Inc., a consulting firm, since 1998. Gen. Estes serves on the Boards of Directors of Analytical Graphics, Inc., a software development company focused on spaceflight and national security, and the Air Force Academy Foundation. From 1965 to 1998, he served in the U.S. Air Force. At the time of his retirement from the Air Force, he was Commander-in-Chief of the North American Aerospace Defense Command and the United States Space Command and also Commander of the Air Force Space Command. In addition to a Bachelor of Science Degree from the Air Force Academy, he holds a Master of Arts Degree in Public Administration from Auburn University and is a graduate of the Program for Senior Managers in Government at Harvard's JFK School of Government.

Nick S. Cyprus, Chair of the Audit and Finance Committee

Mr. Cyprus, of Mahwah, NJ has been director since October 5, 2017 previously director of DigitalGlobe since June 25, 2009. Mr. Cyprus was Vice President, Controller and Chief Accounting Officer of General Motors Company, an automotive manufacturer, from December 2006 to July 2013. Prior to joining General Motors Company, from May 2004 to March 2006, Mr. Cyprus served as Senior Vice President, Controller, and Chief Accounting Officer of Interpublic Group of Companies. From 1999 to 2004, Mr. Cyprus was Vice President, Controller, and Chief Accounting Officer at AT&T Corporation. Mr. Cyprus currently sits on the Board of Directors of Trusted Media Brands, Inc. (f/k/a Reader's Digest Association, Inc.) and is the Chairman of its Audit Committee. Mr. Cyprus also sits on the Board of Directors of Volt Information Sciences, Inc., and is the Chairman of its Audit Committee as well as a member of its Governance and Nominating Committee and Compensation and Benefits Committee. Mr. Cyprus holds a Master of Business Administration from New York University's Stern School of Business and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from Fairleigh Dickinson University in New Jersey. Mr. Cyprus is also a certified public accountant.

Roxanne Decyk, Chair of the Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee

Ms. Decyk is a corporate director. She retired as Executive Vice President of Global Government Relations for Royal Dutch Shell, plc, an oil, gas, chemical and refined petroleum products company, in December 2010, after serving in that position since June 2009. From 2008 until June 2009, Ms. Decyk served as Corporate Affairs and Sustainable Development Director of Royal Dutch Shell plc and from July 2005 to 2008, she served as Corporate Affairs Director. Prior to this, Ms. Decyk was Director International of Shell International B.V., Senior Vice President Corporate Affairs and Human Resources of Shell Oil Company, and Vice President of Corporate Strategy of Shell International Limited. Ms. Decyk also serves as a director of Weatherford International plc where she serves as a member of the Compensation Committee and the Health, Safety and Environment Committee, and as a director of Ensco PLC, where she serves as a member of the Compensation Committee. Ms. Decyk earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Illinois at UrbanaChampaign in English literature and a Juris Doctorate from Marquette University School of Law.

Joanne O. Isham

Joanne Isham, of Alexandria, VA, has been a director since November 1, 2016. Ms. Isham had a distinguished career as a Senior Executive in the U.S. Intelligence Community until her retirement in 2006. She held senior policy and national security space positions, serving as deputy director, National Geospatial Intelligence Agency; deputy director, Science and Technology, Central Intelligence Agency; director, Congressional Affairs, Central Intelligence Agency; and director, Legislative Affairs, National Reconnaissance Office. Subsequently, she held executive positions with BAE Systems, Inc., High Performance Technologies, Inc. and L-1 Identity Solutions, Inc.

General C. Robert Kehler, Chair of the Risk Committee

General Kehler (USAF retired), of Alexandria, VA, has been director since November 1, 2016. General Kehler has also served as a non-executive director of Inmarsat plc since May 2014. Gen. Kehler had a distinguished military career with deep focus on U.S. military space strategy and policy. He served as Commander, U.S. Strategic Command; Commander, Air Force Space Command; Deputy Commander, U.S. Strategic Command; Director, National Security Space Integration; and Commander, 21st Space Wing. He joined the U.S. Air Force in 1975 as a Distinguished Graduate of the Pennsylvania State University R.O.T.C. program, has master's degrees from the University of Oklahoma in Public Administration and the Naval War College in National Security and Strategic Studies, and completed executive development programs at Carnegie-Mellon University, Syracuse University and Harvard University.

L. Roger Mason Jr.

Dr. Mason, of Alexandria, VA., has been director since October 5, 2017, having previously been director of DigitalGlobe since Oct. 21, 2015. Dr. Mason was appointed president of Peraton's Space, Intelligence and Cyber sector, as of January 2018. Prior to joining Peraton, he was the Senior Vice President, Chief Security Officer of Noblis, a nonprofit science, technology, and strategy organization since January 2014. Prior to joining Noblis, from May 2009 to January 2014, Dr. Mason was the Assistant Director of National Intelligence for Systems and Resource Analyses (ADNI/SRA). Dr. Mason serves as a director of the Intelligence and National Security Alliance, a 501(c)6 organization, and chairs its Audit and Compensation Committees. He also serves as a director on the U.S. Geospatial Intelligence Foundation, a 501(c)3 organization and is an appointed member of the Intelligence Community Studies Board of the National Academy of Sciences. Dr. Mason earned his doctorate and master's degrees in engineering physics (nuclear) from the University of Virginia, a master's degree in business administration from Northwestern University (Kellogg School), and a bachelor's degree in physics from The George Washington University.

Eric J. Zahler, Chair of the Compensation Committee

Mr. Zahler, of New York, New York, has been a Director of the Company since May 1, 2014. Mr. Zahler is Managing Director of Sagamore Capital Group LLC, a private equity firm pursuing investments in the aerospace/defense, industrial electronics and selected business service markets. From February 2000 to November 2007, Mr. Zahler was President and Chief Operating Officer of Loral Space & Communications Inc., a global satellite communications services provider and a manufacturer of commercial satellites. From 1992 to 2000, Mr. Zahler held varying senior level management weights at Loral and its predecessor companies. From 1975 to 1992, Mr. Zahler was an attorney at Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson LLP, where he was elected Partner in 1983. Mr. Zahler currently serves as a Director of exactEarth Ltd. Mr. Zahler holds a Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics from Yale University and a law degree from Harvard Law School.

Eddy Zervigon

Mr. Zervigon has been a Director of the Company since October, 2019. He previously served on DigitalGlobe’s Board of Directors from 2004 to 2013, and again from 2014 to 2017. He has been a Special Advisor at Riverside Management Group, a boutique merchant bank, since 2012. Previously, he was a Managing Director in the Principal Investments Group at Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC, a global financial services firm, from 1997 to 2012. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Mr. Zervigon was a Certified Public Accountant at the public accounting firm Coopers & Lybrand, which is now PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP and currently maintains his CPA credentials.

Mr. Zervigon has served as a director of Bloom Energy since 2007, and serves as Chairman of the Nominating, Corporate Governance and Public Policy Committee and a member of its Audit Committee. He previously served as a director of MMCinemas, Impsat Fiber Networks, Inc., TVN Entertainment Corporation and Stadium Capital Management, LLC. He has a bachelor’s degree in accounting and a master’s degree in taxation from Florida International University and an MBA from the Amos Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College.

Gilman Louie

Louie, 59, has been the Managing Partner of Alsop Louie Partners, an early stage venture capital fund, since 2006. He was the Chairman of the Board of Vricon, Inc., from 2016 until its acquisition by Maxar, which was completed on July 1, 2020. Louie was the first Chief Executive Officer and President of In-Q-Tel, the first venture capital fund for the United States Central Intelligence Agency, from its founding in 1999 until 2006.

Louie is also a director of Niantic, the world leading publisher of augmented reality games, and Aerospike, an open-source, flash-optimized NoSQL database built for enterprise to service large-scale, high-speed transactional applications. He has also served as an advisor to many Department of Defense advisory boards and currently serves as a Commissioner of the National Security Commission on Artificial Intelligence, an independent commission that considers the methods and means necessary to advance the development of artificial intelligence, machine learning and associated technologies to comprehensively address the national security and defense needs of the United States. He holds a B.S. in Business Administration from San Francisco State University and has completed the Advanced Management Program/International Seniors Management Program from the Harvard University Graduate Business School.

Dr. Heather Wilson

Dr. Heather Wilson, of El Paso, Texas has been a Director of the Company since January 2021. She is the President of The University of Texas at El Paso. Dr. Wilson was the Secretary of the United States Air Force from May 2017 through May 2019 and was President of the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology from June 2013 through May 2017. From 1998 to 2009, Dr. Wilson represented Albuquerque, New Mexico in the U.S. House of Representatives, where she was a senior member of the House Energy and Commerce Committee and Chair of the House Intelligence Subcommittee on Technical and Tactical Intelligence. She is member of the National Science Board and chairs the Women in Aviation Advisory Board of the Federal Aviation Administration. A former U.S. Air Force officer, Dr. Wilson holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from the U.S. Air Force Academy and earned Master’s and Doctoral degrees from Oxford University in England as a Rhodes Scholar.
